Applications Now Open for FastTrackHER: Construction Edition
Equiforce is now accepting applications for FastTrackHER, an innovative workforce readiness program designed to prepare women for opportunities in high-demand industries.
The 2026 pilot focuses on Newfoundland and Labrador’s construction sector in the Avalon region, with future offerings planned across additional industries and regions.
Program Highlights
- Explore opportunities in the construction industry
- Gain industry awareness and hands-on understanding of today’s labour market
- Learn core safety practices and complete certifications informed by employer feedback
- Hear from guest speakers and visit local worksites
- Connect with employers and industry professionals
- Build confidence in a supportive learning environment

January 19 to February 6, 2026 (30 hours per week)

Cost
This program is offered at no cost to participants. Seats are limited, and participation supports are available.
Who Should Apply
Women who want to explore opportunities in the construction industry and are looking for a supportive, guided starting point. No previous experience is required.
